Exact card pricing and how the estimate works

In person: actual bank and card-network cost + 0.60% + 10¢. Recurring or saved card: actual bank and card-network cost + 0.75% + 12¢. Online or keyed: actual bank and card-network cost + 0.80% + 15¢.

The examples above use a $50 sale and modeled bank and network costs of 1.40% in person and 1.81% for recurring and online payments. The actual bank and network portion varies by card and transaction.

ACH and other account fees

ACH: 0.25% + 30¢ per submitted payment. ACH returns are $5 and ACH chargebacks are $30.

Card disputes or retrievals are $15 plus any transaction loss. PCI non-compliance is $10 when applicable. Optional software, equipment, enhanced fraud tools, and other add-ons are priced separately before activation.

Customer-paid card fees and ACH savings

HexaPay Direct: approved merchants may request an eligible-credit-card surcharge starting at 2.75%. The actual rate is merchant-specific and cannot exceed the lowest applicable acceptance-cost, network, provider, or legal limit.

Programs are optional and off by default. Debit, prepaid, and gift cards are not surcharged. Approval requires underwriting, acquirer registration, supported checkout technology, location eligibility, advance disclosure, and compliant receipts. A 3% ceiling is not an automatic rate or a promise of zero processing cost.

Bank and card-network cost is the variable amount charged by the card companies and the bank that issued the card. HexaPay passes through the actual amount, then adds the clearly displayed HexaPay price above.

How this estimate works

We use an illustrative blended bank and card-network assumption based on your payment mix, then add the displayed HexaPay price. Actual network cost varies by card type, transaction method, business category, returns, disputes, and other account activity.

This rough comparison is for illustration only and is not an offer or guarantee of pricing, approval, or savings. Actual costs vary by card type, transaction method, account activity, and applicable network fees. Final pricing and account availability depend on business review, underwriting approval, and your merchant agreement. Optional software, equipment, disputes, returns, and other activity-based fees are not included.
